This year our UMHS Diversity Club joined Dreaming Forward at the MCIU, connecting with peers from across MontCo to discuss diversity, inclusion, & belonging.
The first session this month included activities where students explored what makes them feel at home, shared ideas about creating inclusive school environments, & expressed their identities through photos & conversation.
These discussions will guide the students’ own school community project as they continue on building UMHS’s welcoming & inclusive environment. The club will meet three more times this school year to continue this important work. #UMProud
