Upper Moreland Future Ready Graduate

The Upper Moreland Future Ready Graduate serves as the District’s vision outlining the knowledge, skills and habits of mind a UM graduate must possess to reach their full potential in our complex and interdependent world.

In the spring of 2024, the Workforce Development Panel convened to combine research with their varied experiences to develop the vision. Members of the approximately 35 person committee included students, staff, parents, community members, Eastern Tech School, and several higher education institutions. The committee identified three categories of skill areas: Communication and collaboration skills, career-oriented and academic knowledge, and characteristics for success. They developed an infographic and a graphic representation of the vision.

The vision was presented to the community for feedback and then to the Board of School Directors for approval in June 2024.
