Home Education
We are excited to extend our resources and support to homeschooling families within our district. At Upper Moreland Township School District we believe in fostering a rich educational experience for every student, regardless of their learning environment. To facilitate this, we are pleased to offer a range of resources and opportunities designed to complement your homeschooling journey.
Resources:
Our district provides access to a variety of educational resources that can enhance your child’s learning experience. These resources include PDE Guidelines , educational tools, that cater to diverse learning styles.
Extracurricular Activities:
We encourage homeschooling students to participate in our extracurricular activities. These include sports teams, clubs, arts programs, and academic competitions. Engaging in these activities not only enriches your child’s social development but also provides valuable learning experiences outside the classroom. Please contact the principal of the school that your child would attend to learn more about these opportunities.
Testing
As part of our commitment to academic excellence, homeschooling students have the opportunity to participate in standardized testing administered by the district. These tests help gauge academic progress and ensure that your child remains on track with state educational standards.
Newsletter & Updates:
Stay informed about district news, events, and educational opportunities through our regular newsletters. These newsletters are designed to keep parents and students updated on important information and upcoming activities.
