As part of our continued efforts to keep students safe, we are trying an updated arrival procedure.

Beginning on Monday, April 13, the front entrance doors will no longer be open during morning arrival. All students—both car riders and walkers—will enter through the side entrance in the parking lot (see the orange dot in the picture below).

If you are dropping off your child, please pull all the way up to the yellow star. Students should exit the car there and walk directly into the building through the side doors. Walkers will also use these same doors to enter. All drop-offs must take place in the parking lot. Using the designated drop-off loop helps keep traffic moving smoothly and, most importantly, keeps students safe.

School administration and UMPD will continue to be present during arrival to help guide traffic and support a safe, orderly process.

Please use the map provided and follow these steps:

Designated Drop-Off Loop (Green Route)
  • Enter the parking lot from Orangemans Road

  • Follow the one-way traffic pattern to the back of the lot

  • Turn left and continue to the top of the lot

  • Have your child exit and walk to the side entrance

  • Please pull forward as far as possible before stopping

Where Not to Drop Off/Enter (Red Area – Orangemans Road)
  • Do not drop students off on Orangemans Road

  • Do not stop, make U-turns, or K-turns on the main road

  • Students should only exit vehicles in the designated drop-off area
