This award-winning ensemble is well-known in the community for its exciting jazz and rock performances. Students in this group are extremely dedicated, talented, and passionate about music and the role they play in it. Audition packets are available in October. Players with the top scores make the competition band known as Jazz Band I. The next best audition scores earn a spot in Jazz Band 2. Jazz Band I is for the more experienced, competitive players.

Joining both the Jazz Band and the Marching Band is typical and encouraged as the schedules are designed not to conflict with each other. Marching Band ends just as Jazz Band picks up. 

• Jazz Band 1 rehearses on Wednesday nights starting at 7:00 (Band room/Auditorium)

• Jazz Band 2 rehearses on Monday nights starting at 7:00 (Band room/Auditorium)
