UMHS students celebrated Constitution Day by exploring Article II of the U.S. Constitution! After studying the powers & limits of the executive branch, they evaluated the work of recent presidents, considered how presidential power has changed over time, & reflected on its impact.
The AP Government class also participated in a Constitutional Convention simulation & a Socratic seminar comparing the arguments of the convention to the strengths & weaknesses of today’s government.
