🌟 We are thrilled to announce Cambrie Richmond as our UMHS Rotary Student of the Month for February!
Cambrie has shown dedication to education, friendship, and community service, which brings her immense fulfillment. Her positive attitude and inquisitive nature make her stand out in class, always asking thoughtful questions and doing extra research.
At UMHS, Cambrie is Vice-President of the National Honor Society and captain of the Golden Bears field hockey team. She's also involved in Mini-Thon, raising funds for pediatric cancer, and coaches field hockey for the Doylestown Athletic Association, where she loves teaching young girls the sport she's passionate about.
Beyond academics and sports, Cambrie volunteers at the UM Booster Club snack stand and None Such Farm events, and works part-time at Aerie while interning with Mr. Andrew Broske. After graduation, she plans to pursue an Honors Biology program at Monmouth University.
Congratulations, Cambrie! 👏

UMMS 6th-graders in Mr. Feldman's Social Studies class brought history to life as they traveled to Ancient Mesopotamia, with their culminating event being the Marshmallow Catapult War Games. Students became members of ancient city-states, strategized, and battled it out in three challenges: Distance, Accuracy, and the Knock Out Round!
Students also researched and constructed Ziggurats - each city-state built its temple with unique touches that reflect their personality and identity.
Hats off to Mr. Feldman and his students for turning learning into an immersive experience and unforgettable adventure! 👏

After graduation, Dr. Bouchet dedicated 26 years to educating young minds as a chemistry & physics instructor at the Institute for Colored Youth in Philadelphia.
