At Upper Moreland Township School District, the staff is committed to providing students with the best education possible. Transition Services
Transition services are defined under IDEA as a coordinated set of activities for a student, designated within an outcome-oriented process, to promote movement from school to postschool activities. Post-school activities include post-secondary education or training, employment, and community living.

Important Websites
Pattan: The Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistance Network’s mission is to support the efforts of the Bureau of Special Education and to build the capacity of local educational agencies to serve students who receive special education services.
Right to Education Task Force: The Right to Education Task Force brings together all stakeholders in the education of children with disabilities to make recommendations in improving, strengthening, expanding, and monitoring programs and services for school-age children with special needs.
PDE: The Pennsylvania Department of Education provides support and maintenance for an efficient system of education.
OSERS: The Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services supports the programs of children, youth, and adults with disabilities.
Early Intervention Information
