Mission Statement

The mission of the Upper Moreland School District Library Media program is to empower students to become lifelong learners and readers through literacy development, information seeking, and critical thinking while using 21st century skills to communicate successfully in their community and beyond.

Overview

The school library media program provides instruction, resources, and services to assist students and teachers in becoming critical thinkers in the pursuit and use of ideas and information. Students develop research and information literacy skills through the Big6 research process.
