Lots of holiday fun last week @ UMPS & UMIS! ❄️ 3rd-graders built gingerbread houses and sported festive holiday gear. ❄️ Mrs. Crompton's class spread joy with their 'Joy Is...' activity, where they shared what makes them happy. They also worked on Snow Globe projects that featured pictures of students inside personally decorated snow globes. ❄️ Mrs. Dougherty's 5th-grade students and Mrs. Holder's kindergarteners teamed up to create gingerbread men and enjoyed a festive treat together. #UMProud #JoyfulMoments #HolidayFun

This month marked the ROAR Pawprints kick-off at UMPS! 🐾 Students recently gathered for an assembly to learn more about this program, which encourages and recognizes our students for demonstrating the core values of ROAR: Respect, Ownership, Attitude, & Responsibility. Throughout the school day, our amazing staff will be on the lookout for students who exemplify the Golden Bear Way! When they spot a student going above & beyond, they'll hand out special ROAR Pawprints. Students can earn incentives for themselves and their classrooms for consistently displaying positive behaviors. 🐻 Thanks to UMPS staff for their dedication to creating a positive & supportive learning environment! #UMProud #ROAR #PositiveBehaviors #GoldenBearWay
