    Good Morning today is Thursday, January 17, 2019.  Today is a PURPLE day.

    ATTENTION SENIORS!!!  SENIOR CLASS DUES – The cost of the Senior Class Dues is $25.00.  This covers the expenses associated with the printing of the diplomas and the diploma covers.  This payment is due January 31, 2019.  Dues can be given to Mrs. Beck, administrative assistant to the principal.  GRADUATION CAP & GOWN – Seniors should go online and order their Cap and Gown immediately at www.jostens.com.  You must place your order by January 31st if you plan to walk in graduation. Failure to place your order will prevent you from walking with your class at graduation.

     

    Do you want a good breakfast and support Mini-Thon at the same time? Next Saturday, January 26th, Upper Moreland Mini-THON is sponsoring a Flapjack Fundraiser at Applebee’s Southampton from 8-10 a.m.  Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children under 8.  Tickets are available from Mini-THON Committee members or can be purchased at the door.  Come out, support us and remember, it’s FTK (For The Kids).

     

    Key Club members: this Sunday is JRA.  We’re leaving school at 9 and returning around noon.  Make sure to check your remind for any changes due to weather.  

     

    The ping pong club will meet after school TODAY in the gym. Players of all levels are welcome.

     

    There will be a meeting TODAY for any boys interested in playing tennis this spring.  Meet in the Audion at 2:16.

     

    All Bear Buddies are welcome to come to our next event on January 31st from 2:30-4:30 pm in room 304. We'll be playing Minute to Win It style games. Sign ups to volunteer and bring snacks are outside of room 304. See Mrs. George or Mrs. Young if you have any questions.

     

    Attention all students:  Lanyards and IDs must be worn and visible every day at school.  If you lost or damaged your lanyard, you can purchase a new one for $5 in the attendance office.  Failure to wear your lanyard visibly could result in disciplinary action. 

     

    Love friends but hate studying? Grab a group of friends and study together during ASAP on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:40-3:40 in the library. Ask a teacher to sign you up. NHS tutors will also be available to help each day. 

     

    Today’s lunch choices:   Egg Sausage & Cheese or Egg Ham & Cheese on a Croissant, Mozzarella Sticks with Marinara Dipping Sauce w/Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Plain or Buffalo Chicken Homemade Pizza, assorted sandwiches and salads.

    Guidance News: 

     

     Seniors- Do not forget to bring your acceptance letters and scholarship letters to the Guidance Office!   Get your PAW PRINT!  You can also email your letters to Rsadowski@umtsd.org.  


    AP Exam Registration is open NOW.  Detailed information can be found on the guidance website or in the guidance office.  Students who attended the AP Student meeting can refer to the AP Exam Registration sheet. 

     

    Students interested in attending MCCC next year can take the PLACEMENT TEST at  Upper Moreland on Wednesday Feb 27th at 11:00AM. 

    1. Apply to MCCC at mc3.edu-select apply now/ first time freshman student-(AT LEAST ONE WEEK BEFORE)
    2. Submit your free application (you will need your Social Security number)
    3. Sign up for placement testing on Naviance under  "WHAT'S NEW" or COLLEGE VISITS
