Key Club members: Two more volunteer activities: JRA on Sunday, June 13th from 9-11 a.m. We will meet at school at 8:30 to carpool to the warehouse. Please respond that you are going in the Key Club google classroom page. We're looking for 10-15 members/friends to go. Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday, June 19th. Volunteers are needed for setup from 9-12 and some volunteers are needed during the event from 1-6 pm at 60 N. York Road. Sign up in the classroom page and let Mr. Cohen know what time you can volunteer.

Attention Juniors and Sophomores: Information about National Honor Society membership is available on the high school website under the "activities" tab. Visit the website to learn about the admission requirements and application process. Be aware that candidates must perform 10 hours of community service with an organization over the upcoming summer.
Reminder to 11th grade students: According to the Pa School Immunization requirements, 28 PA CODE CH.23, school vaccinations are required for attendance in Pennsylvania schools.Current 11th graders, you are required to have a second meningococcal vaccine date to the school nurse by the first day of 12th grade. Therefore, on the first day of 12th grade, unless the student has a medical or religious/philosophical exemption, a PA school student must have an MCV vaccination or risk exclusion from school. At UMHS, a second dose of meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MCV) is due now, and no later than the first day of 12th grade. This must be in the form of an electronic vaccine list, including month, date, year, from your healthcare provider, or a printed form of your vaccines, including month, date, year, from your healthcare provider’s office. Students- Looking for an opportunity to make money this summer? Check out the Community Board by the cafeteria and the Job posting board in the Guidance Office for numerous Job Opportunities.
Second lunches in the cafeteria are no longer free. Students will still be able to purchase any additional individual entrees with cash or funds from their accounts. The first complete meal will still be free. Any additional items will need to be purchased with cash or funds from their account. We cannot let the students charge any additional items. The second lunch entree will be $1.50.
Attention all students and staff: REMINDER - you must be wearing your mask properly at all times. Please make sure your mask overs your nose and mouth! Be mindful of using the stairs that have been designated as up and down staircases and continue following social distancing guidelines. Covid continues to be a dangerous virus, we must be vigilant with health and safety practices.
The UMatter Den is now open! Students interested in receiving a grab and go snack bag should contact their school counselor for a socially distant pick-up location. All students are welcome to utilize the UMatter Den.
