Meet Mrs. Abby Klein

My name is Mrs. Klein and I am the Librarian at the Upper Moreland Primary School! I began teaching in 1996, in the Philadelphia School District. I taught first and second grades before becoming a Librarian. Since 2001, I have been a Librarian and I joined the Upper Moreland School District in 2010.

I am a graduate of Temple University, with a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I received my Masters Degree from Arcadia University, with a Library Science certification. I also finished coursework in Technology and Literature. I like to stay current in the world of Children's Literature, so I'm always taking classes about the latest and greatest books for kids! I love igniting a passion for reading in our youngest students. My hope is that they will become lifelong readers!

The Primary School Library is a wonderful, busy place with excellent resources for students, staff, and parents to share. Volunteers assist with routine circulation desk tasks, help students locate materials, shelve books, and help with displays! Thank you for your interest in helping our students in the Library! Your active participation shows your children how much you value libraries, books, and reading!
