The UMES Choral Music Program is designed to enhance the musical, creative and expressive qualities of all students through the art of singing.  Musical opportunities are provided for every child to apply the basic skills of singing in a group, reading music written in a choral format, developing song repertoire, broadening listening skills, singing in 2-part and 3-part harmony and experiencing the interrelated nature of music with other cultures
