• Summer Feeding is a program supported by the USDA that we will be offering at our Upper Moreland High School on Monday through Thursdays from 11-12:30 starting June 17th and last serving day August 15, no lunch served July 4th.

We provide a free lunch to anyone 18 years old and younger.  This is a great opportunity for students to connect with Community Nutrition and get a broader sense of what areas fall under the umbrella of the USDA.

We can work out a schedule with each of the volunteers based on their availability, but would like to put a consistent schedule in place for the summer once we have our list of volunteers.

Volunteers will need to submit paperwork and clearances, this information can be found on our website and by accessing this link:  https://www.umtsd.org/site/Default.aspx?PageID=368

Volunteers will be helping with setting up the lunches, serving, taking counts of meals served, clean up and inventory.  The hours would be from 10:30-1:00PM.

In addition to this work, I may need assistance may be needed in July in calculating our snacks through the SmartSnacks Calculator and preparing order guides and menus for the new school year.

Please have interested volunteers contact me at 215-830-1522 or by email at rmongiello@umtsd.org.

    Thank you so much!
