Transportation Manager - Mrs. Kelly Rhodunda
Kelly Rhodunda is the Transportation Manager for Upper Moreland School District. Mrs. Rhodunda has a total of twenty-six years of experience in the transportation field. In 2000, she began her career with Upper Moreland as an Administrative Assistant and eventually escalated her role to Manager. She has been a Transportation Administrator for the past seventeen years.
Through collaborative efforts Mrs. Rhodunda was successful in procuring the first district-owned fleet of propane school buses in Pennsylvania. As a result, Upper Moreland School District was named a 2018 recipient of the Governor’s Award for Environmental Excellence and the 2019 Eastern Pennsylvania Alliance for Clean Transportation's Alternative Fuel Leadership Award. The district’s propane project has been the topic of workshops at local and national conferences and was recently featured in School Transportation News Magazine.
Mrs. Rhodunda has served three terms as President of the Montgomery-Bucks Pupil Transportation Association. She is an active member of the Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials (PASBO) and the Delaware Valley Association of School Business Officials (DVASBO). She has been featured as a speaker at two national conferences on the success of the propane school bus fleet and infrastructure.
