Mrs. Val Adair, M.Ed.

Valerie Adair, M.Ed. began working in the field of education in 2004 and is excited to continue as the Supervisor of Special Education for grades 6-12.  Mrs. Adair earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Holy Family University where she majored in Elementary Education/Special Education.  Mrs. Adair earned a Master’s Degree in Education with a Reading Specialist certification.  After she joined Upper Moreland School District, she received her Certification in Supervision of Reading at Holy Family University. Mrs. Adair also has certifications in all middle school subjects. With a goal of supporting all students, families, and faculty,  Mrs. Adair continued her studies at Penn State University and received her certification in Supervision of Special Education.

Mrs. Adair began her career teaching Kindergarten.  She has taught at the high school and middle school levels in Alternative Placement and non-public schools.  She currently teaches graduate students in the Reading Specialist Program at Holy Family University.   Mrs. Adair came to the Upper Moreland School District in 2008 as the Emotional Support teacher at the Middle School.  In the 2018-2019 school year, she accepted the position as Supervisor of Special Education.  This year Mrs. Adair will work with special education and program services.

Mrs. Adair currently resides in Levittown with her husband, son, and grandson.   Mrs. Adair and her family enjoy vacationing at the beaches in North Carolina.
