High School Principal Mr. Joseph Carracappa
Joseph Carracappa has been the principal of Upper Moreland High School since July of 2014. His teaching and administrative background spans more than twenty years. He has been recognized as a master teacher, as well as an exceptional building administrator for his vision and leadership during this tenure.
Mr. Carracappa earned his undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Bloomsburg University and Master’s degrees from Gratz College and Gwynedd Mercy College in Elementary Education and Educational Administration, respectfully. He is grateful to the Upper Moreland Township School Board of Directors for the opportunity to lead Upper Moreland High School into the 21st Century.
As the building principal, Mr. Carracappa is focused on providing the best educational opportunities for the students of the Upper Moreland High School community. He is currently enrolled at Delaware Valley University where he is working toward a doctorate in Educational Leadership. Joe lives in Lansdale, Pennsylvania with his lovely wife and three beautiful children.
