    Grade K, 1 and 2:

    September 12, 2018 - Work with grade level groups to gain deeper understanding of management, standards, components and instruction of the Wonders program.  Pre study group survey

    September 26, 2018 - Explore the key skills necessary for success in Wonders first unit of study. Use formative assessment to create flexible groups

    October 10, 2018 - Gain  a deeper understanding of lesson essentials and assessments in the Wonders program

    October 24, 2018 - Writing about reading- Topics: Modeled, Shared, Interactive, Independent and Functional Writing within the Wonders Program

    November 28, 2018 - Using Formative Assessments to create flexible groups and discuss pacing guides

    January 9, 2019 - Aligning report cards with common core standards

    February 6, 2019 -  Differentiating literacy lessons for Tier 1, 2, 3, ELL ad LS

    September 6, 2018: Wonders: Deeper Exploration of Materials. Comprehension Skills & Strategies, Close Reading, Grammar, Spelling, Vocabulary, Writing to Sources, Genre Writing. 

    January 31, 2019: Guided Reading: Share Write to Text student samples completed since previous session. Leveled readers, skill lessons, workstation activities, independent learning.

    February 21, 2019: Close Reading. Guide group through a close reading routine: read, reread integrate.

    May 9, 2019: Vocabulary Routines. Share close reading lesson successes and struggles since previous session. Vocabulary routines: protocols introduced to enrich, extend academic language.
