Did you know that our Primary School has been building Responsive Classrooms? The teaching staff, along with the support of our administrators, are being trained in this evidence-based education approach. This approach is associated with greater teacher effectiveness, higher student achievement, and improved school climate. Mrs. Brunner, PS School Counselor, and Mrs. Cannon, 2nd Grade teacher, had the fortunate opportunity to be trained in this exciting and rewarding educational approach during the summer of 2017. Mrs. Brunner is excited to share special components of this approach during the HSA meeting being held on March 12th. Come and see what your children may be talking about when they mention words like, Morning Meeting, Greeting, and Quiet Time.
