  • February is Black History Month

    Black History month isn't really just about African-Americans and their contributions to United States history. Black History month is really about all Americans and the way that African-Americans have made their mark on America and the world. – Julia Barrus, eHow Contributor Teachers and students at the Primary School will study, recognize, and celebrate famous Black American authors, scientists, leaders, athletes, and entertainers during the month of February.

  • Early Dismissal 11:45 AM - Friday, February 13, 2015

    In order to have our teachers engage in Professional Development in the afternoon, students will be dismissed at 11:45 AM on Friday, February 13, 2015 via their normal dismissal mode of transportation unless a note is submitted in the morning. We are not able to make changes over the phone on these busy days. Students will eat lunch prior to dismissal. Grab & Go Lunch Bags will be available from the Cafeteria for those who wish to buy lunch. If your child attends our UM Aftercare Program or an outside after care program/caregiver, please click on the bold tagline above for important information.

  • Welcome to the Upper Moreland Primary School!  The Primary School, which is part of the Elementary Center Campus, houses approx 650 kindergarten, first and second grade students. Our dedicated staff of 75 members work diligently to provide our students with age appropriate learning experiences that are relevant, meaningful, and connected to the world around them.
