School Dress Code
As the warmer weather approaches it is important that the children are dressed appropriately for school.
The School Board recognizes that each student’s mode of dress and grooming is a manifestation of personal style and individual preference. Each student, however, is expected to demonstrate cleanliness, propriety, modesty, and good sense of attire and appearance.
Keep in mind that flip flop style sandals or sandals without back straps are a safety hazard and are not to be worn to school. Children are unable to participate safely in physical education and recess activities with this type of footwear. Children of this age group are unable to exit the building safely in the event of an emergency with this type of footwear as well. Please refrain from sending your child to school with this type of footwear. Thank you for your support.
