Spring Sports will begin on March 6, 2017. All required forms, fees and waiver meetings must be completed and received in the Athletic Department by March 2, 2017 in order to be able to participate on the 6th. Questions? Contact Mr. Landgraff in Athletics.
There will be a parent meeting for girls lacrosse on Tuesday, 2/28 at 6:30 pm in the Audion.
The debate club meets on Mondays after school in Room 414. New members are welcome.
This week's Key Club meeting scheduled for to night at 7 pm is canceled. Be sure to support the Grub Burger Fundraiser for Mini-THON.
Attention LEAP students: Information regarding the college visit to Lehigh University and Muhlenberg College was emailed to you. Turn in your permission slip to Mrs. Sugarman as soon as possible.
Yearbook members, the next working yearbook meetings will be held during homeroom on Wednesday, March 1st in Room 208. Please check in with your homeroom teacher first. All members should plan on attending. For more information see Mrs. Christensen or Mrs. Anderson.
The last fundraiser for this year's Mini-THON is a night at Grub Burger in Willow Grove. Please support Mini-THON by going to Grub Burger either Monday or Tuesday (Feb. 27 or 28th). Either grab a flyer or tell the cashier you're support the Upper Moreland Mini-THON and a portion of the of the purchase will go to our Mini-THON. Remember, all our proceeds go to support treatment, support and research to fight for a cure for pediatric cancer.
Mini-THON 2017 Committee members: there will be a meeting on Monday, Feb. 27th, right after school in Library to review this year's Mini-THON and plan for improvements in next year's. If you can't attend, please let Mr. Cohen or Ms. Dale know.
Junior Prom tickets are on sale in room 908 before and after school. Tickets are $80.00 per person until March 3rd. From March 6-17, tickets are $90.00 per person. No tickets will be sold after March 17th. Check your email for details.
Attention Sophomores and Freshmen- the Spring fling will be held on Friday, March 17th! Tickets go on sale through March 3rd. Tickets will be $30 until Feb. 24th at which time the price will increase to $40 until March 3rd. Tickets can be purchased in Room 809 before and after school. Please make checks payable to UMHS. The next Red Cross Blood Drive is coming on Thursday, March 2nd! If you are at least 16 years old and weigh at least 110 lbs you are eligible to give blood. 16 year olds need a parent permission form that is available from members of the Blood Drive committee coming to home rooms or in guidance. Please consider giving; Red Cross is facing a critical shortage. Sign up now in homeroom and at lunch. See a blood drive committee member or Mr. Cohen
Do you or your family have shoes that you no longer wear but someone else could?? UMHS students traveling to Costa Rica are hosting a shoe drive! Bring in your gently used shoes and place them in the box near the attendance office. All sizes, styles, and seasons of shoes needed!!

Spring College & Career Fair! - Upper Dublin High School is hosting their 40th Annual College and Career Fair on Tuesday, March 14, 2017. This fair will be held in their cafeteria from 7 p.m.-8:30 p.m. 130 representatives from colleges, technical, trade and specialty schools (to name a few) will be present.
If you are a student interested in any of the following, and are looking for a unique summer experience, please make an appointment with your guidance counselor.

PA Free Enterprise Week - PFEW is a week long program, held in the summer in Williamsport, PA. This unique program, designed for high school sophomores and juniors, furnishes the perfect opportunity for students to learn about different career opportunities. Students work together as a management team to run their own business and learn about the free enterprise system., all while experiencing college life.
