2007-2008 High School Guide to Gifted Education

The high school offers the Ninth Period Program to gifted high school students.  The Ninth Period Program allows gifted students the opportunity to attend seminars, hear guest speakers, and participate in specially designed services.  Event offerings range from one time events to long term commitments.  Most of the events are offered from 2:15-2:55 on Mondays and Wednesdays; however, some events place during the school day or in the evening.  The dates, locations, and time commitments for the events continues to be updated and  published as the school year progresses.
A Ninth Period Advisory Board, composed of parents, students, teachers, and administrators meets four times a year to review the program and to make recommendations.  If you would like to be an active participant on The Ninth Period Advisory Board, please email Mrs. Hanssens.
