November is also an opportunity for gifted upperclassmen to offer guidance and advice to freshman gifted students.  There are three Ninth Period sessions scheduled for this social and informal sharing among students.

On November 28, gifted students interested in the arts will be accompanying eleventh grade Honors English students to the opera, Cosi fan tutte.  Prior to attending this jointly planned field trip, students interact with the Academy of Vocal Arts performers in workshops at the high school so students can have a thorough understanding of the opera before seeing it.

As always, if you have suggestions or programs that you think will benefit gifted high school students, please email the information to Mrs. Hanssens
