Play Double Compare with a family member.  Use a regular deck of playing cards.  (Each partner turns over 2 cards and add for a total.  The higher total wins the round)

Use a deck of cards.  Pick 6 cards and sort them odd/even.  Pick another 6 cards and sort again.

Measure using measuring cups  (1/2, 1/3, ¼ cup measure). Fill an empty container with water using ½, then ¼ and compare.

Practice counting by 5’s starting with 50 and going to 125.

Skip count by 2’s starting with the number 12 and stop at the number 48.  What do you notice?

Roll dice and make the largest 2/3 digit number from the roll.  (If you roll a 6 and a 1, you can make 61.) Do this 5 times.  Sort the numbers even/odd.

Find 5 pennies and 2 nickels and 2 dimes.  How much money is it?

Use a sheet of paper to make your own 100 chart. Keep track of how many butterflies you see in a week.

Look at the calendar.  Estimate how many days your summer vacation is.  Now count them.

Draw a picture of your bedroom.  Label the 3-D objects.

 

Write the next 10 numbers starting with 9, and now 64, and 89, finally 98.  What do you notice?

Find a container to hold treasures.  Sort and classify the treasures.  Use these treasures to tell addition and subtraction stories.
