Dear Parents and Staff Members:

Our school community is proud to once again offer the fundraising food program called Market Day.  Market Day has been in operation since 1975 and has grown to include thousands of schools just like ours.  Last year was our first year with Market Day and we were incredibly successful due to the continual support of our school community.  If you were a Market Day customer last year, we thank you and hope to see you again this year!  If you are new to the Intermediate School, or just haven’t had a chance to try Market Day yet, please give us a try!

Each month restaurant-quality food products from the same vendors that supply many upscale restaurants will be available for purchase.  Market Day products are competitively priced and the UMIS H.S.A. will earn profit on your purchases.

Our goal this year is to earn $5,000.  We can earn this money without our students going door-to-door, without purchasing products we wouldn’t ordinarily purchase, and with the knowledge that all products are of exceptional quality and covered by Market Day’s Satisfaction Guarantee!

Order sheets will be coming home monthly. Please take a few minutes to review this month’s order sheet and place an order.  Here’s how the program works:

• You can order online with a credit or debit card.  This is the easiest and most convenient way to buy.  Credit/debit cards are for ordering online only and will not be accepted on pick-up day.
• If you choose to pay with cash, check or EBT food stamps, you will need to fill out and send in the paper order form.   DO NOT SEND PAYMENT AT TIME OF ORDER. CHECKS MUST BE MADE OUT TO MARKET DAY on the day of pick-up.  EBT food stamps are accepted on pick-up day only.
• Be aware that late orders cannot be processed!  Please take note of each month’s deadline for ordering.
