ENGLISH 12 ADVANCED PLACEMENT LIST OF REQUIRED SUMMER READING
Students of Advanced Placement English must read the following works during the summer.  They should expect to take an examination and to write a critical essay on the reading during the first week of school in September.  In addition, students should read as many other works as possible for their own edification.  Students from previous advanced placement classes strongly recommend reading some of the famous Greek myths and some of the popular stories and parables from the Bible.
