FOR TEACHERS

The START team really needs your help.  You see your students everyday and it's easy to see when something may be awry.  In order to help, the START team is providing you with this chart of common signs to look for.

LIFE SKILL DEFICIENCIES
(LACK OF...)		 + LIFE CRISIS = SPECIFIC OBSERVABLE DESCRIPTIVE BEHAVIORS
Coping Grief Acting out
Communication Loss Poor attendance
Decision making Violence Poor grades/drop in grades
Self-worth Abuse Hostility

Purpose Suicide Moody

Now of course, these are not the only warning signs but they are some of the most common.  If you are interesting in learning more, please contact a member of the START team for a full table of warning signs.
