POSITION: Math Coach, High School
WORK SCHEDULE:

10 Month
SUMMARY:

This professional staff position is part of the High School leadership team and the K-12 math coach teacher leadership team, providing job-imbedded and ongoing professional development for teachers, staff and administration in the area of mathematics.  The position will also support administration in data analysis and professional development for staff in regard to the utilization of data and math content instructional best practices.  This position is part of the Upper Moreland Education Association. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

The following are the minimum qualifications required for this position:

  • PA Level II certification in Math 7-12;
  • Track record or evidence of improving student achievement in the classroom;
  • Demonstrated deep knowledge of math content area;
  • Demonstrated knowledge and use of a rich array of instructional approaches, resources and technologies in the area of math;
  • Demonstrated skills in analyzing and using data for instructional decision-making;
  • Knowledge and skills to implement a standards-based mathematics program.
