Position:	Director of Instructional Technology
Work Schedule:	12 month Administrative Position
Job Responsibilities Summary:	This position is a cabinet level administrative position with district-wide responsibility for the overall vision, planning, coordination and implementation of both the educational and support technology for the school district. This position provides leadership in the use of technology systems for instruction and management functions and supervises the technology department staff and is responsible for the K-12 technology plan for the district.

Qualifications:	Minimum qualifications for this position include the following: Current Pennsylvania Certification in Instructional Technology or equivalent Pennsylvania certification; Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Technology or technology related field with master’s degree preferred; Five (5) years experience in area of instructional technology or technology related field; Knowledge of academic environment including related policies and procedures, technology planning, networking internet and data security as well as e-rate procedures and requirements; Experience in the development, maintenance and evaluation of a quality district-wide technology plan; Prior supervisory experience; Strong demonstrated oral and written communication skills
