Overview

Students will learn about human morphology and physiology by developing an understanding of how form fits function. This course emphasizes building upon Biological concepts including the relationship between structure and function at all levels of organization as well as analyzing the chemical and structural basis of living organisms. This will be accomplished by comparative study of animals; including the sheep, pig, and chicken. Students will study body systems building a knowledge base leading toward a greater understanding of the workings of the human body.
