Under section 311( c) of Act 1, the Board must print and make available for public inspection the preliminary budget proposal at least 20 days prior to the date of its adoption. In addition, section 311( c) states that the Board must give public notice of its intent to adopt the preliminary budget at least 10 days prior to its adoption. Therefore, the following is a list of deadline dates that we need to meet in order to be compliant under section 311 ( c) of Act : |

| December 31st | Deadline to mail homestead/farmstead application |
| January 3rd | Display preliminary budget for 2007-2008 to public |
| January 12th | Notify public of intent to adopt preliminary budget for 2007-2008 |
| January 23rd | Board of School Directors adopts preliminary budget for 2007-200 |
| January 26th | Board of School Directors adopts resolution to keep a tax increase within the index |
| February 19th | Submit budget to PDE with any proposed tax increases |
| February 22nd | District to advertise it is seeking an exception from Back-end Referendum |
| February 26th | Deadline to advertise intent to adopt resolution on Front-end Referendum |
| March 1st | Submit to PDE exceptions and Homestead/Farmstead filing deadline |
| March 13th | Board of School Directors resolution to adopt EIT/PIT question for May primary |
| March 15th | Submit referendum question to the Board of Elections prior to May primary |
| April 15th | Slot dollars will be announced |
| May 1st | County assessor to submit report to school districts (Homestead/Farmstead) |
| June 30th | Final budget for 2007-2008 is adopted and deadline for board to set homestead/farmstead exclusion amount (if PTRA available) |
