Purpose
The Board welcomes the public at events held by the school district. The Board also acknowledges its duty to maintain order and preserve the facilities of the district during such events..
Authority
The Board, Superintendent or designee, has the authority to bar the attendance or remove from the premises, any person at a school event whose conduct has the potential to be or is a disruption. The Board also prohibits alcoholic beverages, tobacco use, gambling not consistent with policy (fundraisers), and the use of drugs on school premises.
Regulations
The Board establishes the following regulations with respect to the conduct of school events:
- A schedule of fees for all school events shall be prepared by the Superintendent or designee.
- Residents of the district who are 60 years of age or older shall qualify for individual identification that permits admission without charge to all school events, unless otherwise advertised.
- The Board will honor athletic passes from all districts, which are members of the league in which teams of this district compete and which honor the passes of this district, unless otherwise advertised.
