Title: Bonding

Purpose
Prudent trusteeship of the resources of this district dictates that individuals responsible for the safekeeping of district funds be bonded.

Authority
The district shall be indemnified against loss of money by bonding of individuals holding the following positions.

TITLE

  • Tax Collector
  • Board Treasurer
  • Board Secretary

All other employees/Board Officers shall be covered under a blanket bond.

The District shall bear the cost of bonding of each individual required to be bonded by this policy or by statute.
