| Purpose
There shall be a plan for regular evaluation of all professional
employees of the district.
Authority
The evaluation plan for professional employees shall be in
accordance with the plan as approved by the state.
Guidelines
The Board directs that the district shall utilize the State
approved evaluation form.
The objectives of the district evaluation plan for professional employees
are:
- to identify, improve and reinforce the skills, attitudes and
abilities that enable an employee to be effective in achieving district
goals
- to assess teaching performance in connection with continued employment,
recommendation for tenure, and rating as needed in the event of
reduction in staff.
The evaluation plan shall be uniform throughout the district and
provide a procedure for:
- identifying and commending effective performance,
- counseling and assisting professional employees consistent with
administrative and State guidelines,
- provide guidelines for annual review and modification of the
total evaluation system.
Delegation of Responsibility
The Superintendent or designee shall prepare procedures to
conduct employee evaluations. |
