Many graduates of Upper Moreland High School are members
of the Alumni Association.
What does the Alumni Association do?
- The Alumni Association assembles and preserves all class pictures,
records, and memorabilia in one designated location for the future
use and enjoyment of everyone associated with Upper Moreland High
School.
- Secure and maintain the name and address of every student who attended
Upper Moreland High School and establishes and maintains a database
of these names and addresses.
- Assist with class reunions by providing reunion organizers with
class lists, addresses, and helps to publicize the reunions via ETV-1
Channel 60 (the local cable channel), the school district website,
and the "Bear Facts" the alumni newsletter.
- Coordinate an yearly membership drive.
- Publish the Alumni newsletter, "The Bear Facts."
- At the yearly Commencement Ceremony, award a boy and a girl a $1000
scholarship for their college education.
If you are not a member of this very special organization, please consider
joining now. Your donation helps to keep the Upper Moreland spirit alive.
The dues directly contribute to our scholarship fund and our continuing
operating expenses, such as the postage and printing of your newsletters
and reunion information. All alumni who are active in running
the Alumni Association are 100% volunteers. Please show your support
and join today!
